You... seemed rather supportive of it before. What exactly is it about the place that you don't like? I liked the idea of change for the community as a whole, but as a single member, I do not feel as though the shift in hosts and the removal of some User features (although the name-switching I can do without) will necessarily benefit me - considering my existing disdain for InvisionFree - but that is merely personal preference. InvisionFree is usually a good host, but I - myself - cannot tolerate it. I will make an account, but my already waning participation will only further be reduced. Trivial things; do not be concerned. I guess that is one solution, simplest one out there. No competition, no titles, just a place to post challenges equally. Wouldn't have to deal with a "reset" and it's the lowest-maintenance thing tabled. Only issue I have is the lack of categorization. I'm a bit of a neat-freak when it comes to that kind of thing. Others around who fight for the "pro-CT, anti-general forum" cause would argue that it takes more attention away from Challenge Taking on the board itself, though. You do bring a good point about it, though. Even if I haven't looked into it much, CSE has always been pretty orderly from what I've seen, even without moderation or categorizing. All anyone would really lose is a little convenience. That would be the lesser of two evils, ignoring the 'pro-ranking' Challenge Takers. I realize it could become quite a controversial topic in regards to the older members who wish to maintain a focus on Challenge Taking, but I could not offer any solutions to them specifically; otherwise the issue of elitism and mass competition would strike up once more, and perhaps even call for the need of a moderator in that section. I understand if my suggestion seems counter-active to what I intended earlier, but I see no alternative that wouldn't deal with egos or pride. If people wish to see what has occurred in their thread, they can always 'Bookmark' or Subscribe to it, so they receive PM Updates whenever there is a new post - I did that with the Artistic Abilities Thread and some of the Role-Plays. It helps to get the initiative on posting, as well. One good thing ( personal opinion) about InvisionFree, is that there are Thread Descriptions which are found while browsing a board or sub-board. This means you can detail what games you play, or what your Challenge Taking style is - and thus, having to scroll through the list of people to find a thread, a new one might catch your interest. So, what you lose in convenience, you might gain in a new rival or new source of entertainment. ... forgive me for the awkward wording, I am rather rushed at the moment.

Actually, Fooz's idea sounds like the best at the moment...
If clutter is the problem, then you might just have to appoint another mod for the CT sub-board to move necro-threads to a sort of "cold storage" or rank Syaro up and allow him to manipulate the CT board too.
Or maybe, we could have something of a "fairer" (as in even... multiple meanings.) ranking system that will not distract viewers away from the less known CT's. If not ranking, categorization depending on the games currently available to a given CT.
Say, have an MMBN board, a DK board and etc. Though, the only problem would be the clutter of those having multiple game titles......... by genres, maybe, to expose some games to the world of CT-ing.
*GAK!* Clutter...
IMO, we shouldn't give up just yet on this CT forum.

Well, before we say we are giving up on this CT forum, maybe we should ask; who really thinks this new forum/website is a good idea. We should also ask who doesn't.

Well, the "cold storage" thing is definitely in, considering some people like to take breaks and don't want their threads pruned. Well, the website's coming up, regardless. Since the theme isn't strictly Challenge Taking as it stands right now, making a new forum to go with it seems to be the most logical choice... and I'd much rather move than have everyone divided. I've already stated that I dislike Proboards. In my opinion, this place needs an update. Break away from the Mega Man mold we've inadvertantly set ourselves into. Which... does bring the problem of the fact that InvisionFree only allows one custom skin... I only recently realized that.I haven't given up on this forum, per se. It's just that circumstances can't allow it to remain as it is.

Just throwing this out there, but I'm willing to mod the CT forums, however big or messy they may be. I literally have all the time in the world to do it. If we have Armadox's leaderboard system, I suggest we have these forums:
-General (Chatting being implied.) --Gaming --Games --CT Discussion --Serious RP ---Major RP Subforum --Other needed subforums
-Challenges --MMBN ---Top Ten ----Subforum for each CT ---Next Fifteen ----Subforum for each CT ---The Rest --DKC ---Top Ten ----Subforum for each CT ---Next Fifteen ----Subforum for each CT ---The Rest --*insert other game series here* ---Top Ten ----Subforum for each CT ---Next Fifteen ----Subforum for each CT ---The Rest --Blast Freezer ;D -Garbage Dump
And I offer to take charge of all the challenge taker boards through people PMing me. I see the issue about number 10 being kicked down to 11, but that should be remedied with two or so clicks, to move the forums. If someone gets a glimpse of a "Top Ten" board having eleven subforums, then that's their problem. Every subforum after two dashes would be hidden.
I've never had a problem with Invisionfree, and it has quite a few features.

Your top 10 is a good idea Giga... but there is one problem. I'm the most active DCK CT right now. WHat if I was to become the most active MMBN CT as well?

I've already decided how this is going to work. I'm pretty much just scrapping the whole categorizing thing altogether.
The forum's good to go. I just have to get the site together and that's almost done, too. Just need to code it, test it, and host it, then the whole thing will be up and running.
