Actually Final Fantasy *1* wasn't the last game for Square, but instead, the last game for Nobuo, had it hit rock-bottom.

FF1 was supposed to be the last game Square ever made, until it became so popular it saved Square from gping Bankrupt Senseless trivia which every gamer should know. Still my oppinion is that the games were better when enix and Squaresoft were separated. Agreed

Alright, moving on, does anybody know how to properly use Odin's Zantetsuken?
Because, they made Odin harder to use in the games after 5, making his Zantetsuken affect at random times and removed Gungnir. 9 is not affected by this question, though, since they allowed Odin to have a non-elemental attack.

Actually, Odin's attack is Wind Elemental. In FFVIII, Odin had a 100% chance of killing enemies (Usefull againts Malboro who gives you over 2000 exp points) exept the bosses. That Why I always get Odin AFTER I beat the crap out of Seifer on the Third Disc, since he kills odin for a crappy semi-GF: Gilgamesh

I know out of experience... And I agree that Gilgamesh is lousy in FF8...but, then again, what else could anyone who's played FF5 expect? At least it's a nice cameo.

Just to confirm it to myself, Gilgamesh is the four armed guy in FF9, right? The one that tried to kidnap Eiko.

Yes, indeed.
He only tells you that once you've garnered a treasure hunter rank of A where he is so insecure that he's just a rank D.
He went by 3 codenames:
Four-armed man Alleyway Jack Bro/ Brother Gil (Once you've gotten the Excalibur 2 which we will never attempt to nor ever retrieve.)
The name Brother Gil was said in the letter that you read when you get the Excalibur 2 and the person who wrote it was Enkidou, Gilgamesh's side-kick in all his cameos and in FF5.
Just a fact that some may know:
Gilgamesh was a prince in the epic "The Epic of Gilgamesh". There was also a character in that epic named "Enkidou" however I forgot who he was.
I can't take the credit for this fact but I got it from the "Name Origins" section of the Final Fantasy Compendium. (This is not in any way blatant advertising. Not posting the source could get me sued by someone like Phoenix Wright for plagiarism, so bear with me.)

Enkidou was a king, Presumly invincible. His hunter found enkidou while hunting in the forest. They told Gilgamesh about the man, and Gilgamesh then asked her mother (Who happens to be a goddess) who was this man. She answered than Enkidou was his brother. Gilgamesh ordered his man to send the most beautiful woman of his kingdom, to civilise him and to learn him what love his. When the woman is done with that objective, Enkidou decide to challenge Gilgamesh. He accepts, but the battle ends up i a tie. Then Gilgamesh welcome Enkidou with open arm saying they are brother. Enkidou answer something like: ''This kingdom really deserve you as their king''
I know about this part, cause I worked on it recently at college.
This not the end... I know there are other parts...

This should've also been a good pick for our reading assignment! Instead I got stuck with "The Catcher in the Rye".
Ohhh well! Maybe next time!

I couldn't get my Treasure rank over B, even though I found all the hidden treasures and had every card (why must there be a 100 card limit?)

Speaking of the Aloha equipment, what does they do? Nothing? When it was saying that it gives us a tropical feel, I was sure they'd at least make us look on vacatioons lol
