Also, while I used to like it, I just can't stand FF8 anymore... Why's that?

There are some FF with really bad replay.
Some are:
FF 12 FF 8 FF TA FF 4 & FF 2
Their only good for one and only 1 playthrough. After which they get dull.
It's usually their story or amount of hidden items and secret cutscenes that give them the good replay feeling.

I liked FF8... It was the one I grew up with.
Heh, I remember fighting the final boss at level 70-ish, with 90-something Mega-elixirs, and just kept spamming Renzokuken on the final form of Ultimecia.
It went like this:
Squall & Zell (rest were removed): "Oh. %*^&. The final boss." Ultimecia: "Yeah, that's right. *uses spell that lowers to 1 HP* Squall: "Renzokuken! Lion Heart!" Zell: "Mega-Elixir!" Ultimecia: "Argh! *uses spell that lowers to 1 HP* Squall: "Renzokuken! Lion Heart!" Zell: "Mega-Elixir!" Ultimecia: "Argh! *uses spell that lowers to 1 HP* (Rinse and repeat)
>_>
At least I found Griever/Greiver to be hard, or rather, a pain in the ass.

and WTF about FFTA not having good replay? When you finish the game, assuming, you were only doing the main missions, you only have 8% game complete!

No FF game has no Cid. The list to prove it: 1- The legendary Airship maker 2- The Airship pilot 3- Uhhhh... I dunno who he is really, I just know that there's a Cid 4- lolz! 1st ever playable Cid! 5- The genius who invented the Fire-powered ship 6- lolz! The second Cid in the series to die (optional)! An Imperial Scientist who did research on Espers. 7- Highwind! The Dragoon. 8- The father of Ultimecia (if I'm not mistaken). 9- Oglop who becomes a Frog who becomes human who becomes Eiko's dad. 10- The ONLY Bald headed Cid. 11- FF wha....? 12- There's a Sid. T- Obi Wan Kenobi!!!!!! Waaaaahhhh! lolz! TA- Mewt's dad and a judge. There are some FF with really bad replay. Some are: FF 12 FF 8 FF TA FF 4 & FF 2 Their only good for one and only 1 playthrough. At least FF2 Dawn of Souls and Anniversary edition have something to unlock when you beat the last boss! Well that may be true for FF2 DoS, but I'm talking about the ORIGINAL game. The one with the 8-bit graphics. I liked FF8... It was the one I grew up with. More of a 6 fan but it has the same backstory for me as well. If romance isn't your type then FF8 isn't for you.

FF1- you're right FF2- same FF3- He's the pilot of the airship, but he got help from Kazus's smith and King Argus to make his airship FF4- Yup FFV- Yup FFVI- Yup FFVII-Yup FFVIII- Almost got it. He is Edea's Wife. Ultimecia is from the future, so she obviously can't be Cid's daughter FFIX forgot to mention he also is a creater of Airship FFX- Also pilot and the guy who helped finding an ancien airship FFXI- I'll tell you if I find one FFXII-??

Also, while I used to like it, I just can't stand FF8 anymore... Why's that? When I did get FF8, it was my second FF game, first being FFT. Then I've played FF9 and FF7, both, in my opinion, had better stories. I couldn't even finish another playthrough because I gotten annoyed with FF8. Also, I didn't like the characters too much in FF8. FF9 had my favorite characters. And I loathed Triple Triad. I enjoyed FF9's card game. At least there, if I got my ass kicked, I know why. I even cared enough to get every card (which is more than I could say for FF8). Also, Squall's retarded.

I love FFTA! That and FF2. It was horrible, but you gotta admit, the stat-increasing system could have been pretty cool. Also, FFT for the PS was really good.

Ohh yeah... forgot that about the FF9 Cid. For the FF12 "Sid" I got the info from www.ffcompendium.com same with the others (aside from those games which I've played before (1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 9, T, TA). I guess they named him Sid because it might bear confusion between him and Orlandu. Squall's weak! My classmate had him at lv 70 and already a lv 45 Zidane or Cloud could have beaten him hands-down!

That's because the FF8 characters *needed* junctions. A materia-less Cloud isn't so bad, and neither is Zidane without those abilities, as their stats are, for the most part, independent of anything else. In FF8, if you didn't junction, you might as well not play the game.

Are you kidding! We could beet FF9 even if we never used any of Zidane's abilities! His attack stat says all! Well, we will have to use some support abilities since some of the equipped items don't immediately provide the abilities. (Much like the Feather boots)
