Poke'mon, Heart Gold and Soul Silver, coming soon!

So Heart Gold and Soul Silver will be hitting Japan sometime soon... Not sure how long it'll be 'till it gets to America and more importantly Europe and Australia. So time to get a thread started.

Personally, I'm going to for Soul Silver an cyndaquil.

Here's a trailer video! From the looks of things they took the pikachu mechanic from Yellow and now you can have any poke'mon follow you... Or at a minimum they have an overworld sprite.

Bah I like the look of this game, I hope they put alot of effort into rebirthing the most nostalgic pokemon game in history.

Well, considering we haven't seen an "Electric Yellow" or anything of the sort in Gen1 Advance, I wouldn't get my hopes up too high for a Crystal remake.

I mean to get Soul Silver when I'm able (we can forget about any ideas of my getting it within five months of release day... ¬_¬). Might have something to do with my losing my copy of the original Silver version. My starter, however... my only certainty is that I won't be choosing Totodile. Then again, I never choose the Water type on my first run.

Oh, and Hot-Hit... I tried to edit Chikorita into the poll for you, but it's apparently completely beyond my reach as well.

I'll probably get SoulSilver, and as with all of my other Pokemon "first-time" playthroughs, I'll be choosing the fire option.

What I'm quite interested about is the "Poke' Walker" thing that comes with the game.

Obviously, for me, Soul Silver and Cyndaquil because well, I originally chose both when the original Gold and Silver came out. And for the record, Lugia's not losertastic, it's likable.

Yes, I will be getting both games. On release day. With both paid for well in advance. In fact, I already have them reserved with around half paid off. Apparently an announced release of "Spring 2010" was enough for me to do that. My worry, though, is that they were listed at $34.99, which I really hope was a mere placeholder price, or else there might be a chance of not seeing the packaged PokeWalker overseas. I would very much hate to see that happen, and let my special Jirachi go to waste...

Anyway, as for starters, I do not plan on settling on only one. In fact, I will not even settle for only those three, when breeding eggs on Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum has become so simple.

...Oh, and as for the comment about a Crystal remake...these games are already including allmost of the Crystal-only extras, so I would not count on ever seeing a remake actually labeled after Crystal.

Yeah, unlike the Gen1 remake, like Forci said, they are planning on putting everything that was Crystal exclusice. Eusine, for exemple, has been confirmed at least 2 or 3 months ago. Although I heard that Suicune will still be at a specific place like it was in Crystal, I do beleive it'll be somewhere else than the Tin Tower. At least, that's what I heard.

And what about those retards answers for the poll? Can't anyone make a non-retard poll in this place we call internet? (And BTW, I don't mean the accidental misisng chikoriita)

Yes, yes... a thousand times, YES! Though I doubt I'll be able to snag a copy (still don't have FFTA2 nor DQM:J), I'll surely go for Silver; just for the heck of it all.

I miss my Silver... that's what you get from having almost all games sold being pirated copies. *posts in vent thread* Can't wait to see Cyndaquil again. XO
