SF3 Chips: *insert any Gigachip here.* *insert 5 Navichips here.* 5 SwordFighterX 5 SprBarriers 5 Muramasas 5 SpinbladeXs 5 Attk+10 1 DblEater 4 ParalyzePlus This is the folder I'm aiming to use. Muramasa is the strongest of all standard chips when u have lost 500 damage. Then the blade does a longsword of 500 damage. SwordFighterX does 300 unless you have WolfNoise, then it does 450 Spinblade is more for PvP, as it hits the entire back row. Can be replaced for HP recovery chips and others. SprBarriers can be replaced for other chips. Attk+10s and ParlyzePlus are for obvious reasons. DblEater can be replaced. I didn't add any navichips nor Gigachips due to the fact that I havent gotten all of them and that I can't think of some really good ones that'll back up the other chips. I'm lazy, meh. Any Positive Critisism would be nice.

Any Positive Critisism would be nice. Attack+10 is actually not quite as useful in this game, even with Sword Fighter. If you want attack boosts, then -5 Attack+10 and +2 AttackPanel. Also, Gemini Noise is superior to ParalyzePlus, even with Multi-Noise, so remove them. +3 WarriorSoul +2 MegaBoost +2 Invisible As you should know, WarriorSoul grants SuperArmor and a maximized Buster at the cost of a HP bug, except that said bug also works to improve on Muramasa. MegaBoost is so that you do not get stunned out of that all-important Muramasa hit, and so that it can pierce Invisible. Invisible is obvious. So, something like this would be the revised version: The Giga depends on your version, and you do not really need that many Megas. Sirius X is an option if you plan on using OmniShoes, however.

BN3 folder.
Something i just threw together for a simple beatdown.
Lance x4 Invis * x4 Shadow * x4 Areagrab S x4 Mine S x2 Mine * x2 Navi +20 * x4 Fullcust * (Preset) Attack +30 * Navi +40 * Protoman V4 B Protoman V3 B Darkman V5 D
Tactic: Area grab to column lock, Mines remove Invis and Mole, Protoman for removing Auras and Shadows. Lance to hit them whilst they're stuck on back row.
Main Beatdown: Darkman V5+Navi40+Attack30+Navi20+Navi20 (30+40+30+20+20=140 damage per bat) Since enemy is column locked, EVERY bat hits, and V5 sends out about 40+ bats. 140 x 40 = 5600 damage, which can kill anything in the game instantly.
Flaws: Needs a 10 chip draw to use effectivly, so custom style and custom+ NPCs are a must, otherwise you can end up with a screen full of Invis chips. The majority of chips are for stalling purposes untill you can get the Darkman combo.
May consider changing Lances for Northwinds to eliminate the possibility of HolyAura.
Commets and critcisms are welcome.

At first, it seems like a good plan. However : A )Obstacle screws you up. (Possible solutions : Poltergeist) B )Enemy standing in the front column screws you up. (Possible solutions : Wind) C )Anti-Navi (not sure about that) screws you up. (Possible solutions - if you know enemy used anti chip, use charged buster. If it's Anti-damage, it will attack. If it's not, don't use DarkMan.) D )HolyAura screws you up AGAIN (Possible Solutions : LifeSword, for the love of God...) E )HolyMoleAura will stand against the Northwind. (Possible Solutions : Geddon+Mines?)
It may work once, but it's rather easy to counter... Feel free to use it to whack the in-game bosses except Alpha.
Oh, and I've got a question - what can get a person out of Mole? Mines will, Meteors too I think, Wave chips, Anti-Damage will... What else?

Anything that directly targets the panel and inflicts damage will hit a mole. Also, anything that looks like it will travel down the hole (meteors, shurikens etc)
Magnums, Panel outs, lava panels (not effective against heat styles), Gutsman, Plantman etc.
Easiset way to flush out a mole, is probably Gutsman or Plantman.
You could use the Rush NCP as well.

I was gonna make an official folder topic, until I remembered this thing.
Can someone post SF3's finalized Geo folder?

I was gonna make an official folder topic, until I remembered this thing. Can someone post SF3's finalized Geo folder? Which one? There are at least ten different folders for each Finalize form.

Bad wording. The Extra Folder in its strongest form. What do you think it is? That is what I'm asking.

Found an old folder I made in BN2. What do you think of it?
FireBlade R x2 AquaBlade R x2 ElecBlade R x2 Ratton2 N x3 Recover300 R x3 Fastgauge * FullCust * UnderShirt N BubbleWrap R Leaf Shield R LifeAura2 F HolyPanal R x2 Atk +30 Navi +20 x3 Navi +40 RollV3 R x4 Bass F
The only thing I know it wasn't built for is multiplayer because I don't know anyone else with BN2.

Looks like an R-coded PA folder with Forte support.
UnderShirt, LifeAura2, and Ratton2 seem a little out of nowhere, though. I can see the LifeAura supporting Forte's F code, but one copy isn't making much difference.
Ratton2 I can kinda see as supporting your PA-centric setup with something you can afford to throw away and can still do damage with while matching your UnderShirt's code, but I'd probably put something else in R code there for the same purpose. UnderShirt... I never saw much use for as a chip, to be dead honest. Irreplaceable as a Customizer piece, but as a chip... not so much, especially with only one copy and all those other defensive chips.
That's all I see that seems really out of place, though it does seem pretty reliant on relatively ideal draws. The Blades are, of course, restricted to close range, and two thirds of your other PA are purely defensive, not to mention anything that isn't a PA or Ratton2 is a support chip.

Bad wording. The Extra Folder in its strongest form. What do you think it is? That is what I'm asking. That comes down to personal preference, then. I myself have a bit of a preference for Black Ace Server LV4 in-game. I do not have the exact card list, although I do remember that it has SharkAtk3, BushidoX, SkullArrowX, SpinBladeX, three Finalize Big Bangs, and a few assorted Noise Force Big Bangs.

Redid my BN6 folder, I normally use this on Gregar SP:
Elecpulse1 J x3 Elecpulse2 J Elecpulse3 J x2 (R) MachGun2 S x3 Sword * WideSword * (T) LongSword * x2 (T) Reflect2 * x2 Reflect3 * x2 Rec300 J x2 Sanctuary Z ElementTrap S AntiNavi * AntiDamage * x2 AntiSword * Slashman S x2 SlashmanEX S SlashmanSP S ColonelForce Q
I replace the MachGuns with Areasteals when I fight navis.

One thing of note when building a folder is "are you being cheap enough?" Like any deck building style game, battle network has things that work and things that don't. That difference gives us the most effective chips, the splashables. Not to be confused with magikarp.
I only know the chips for bn6 and starforce, but from it we can determine what is an effective chip. Here's what I know about 6's splashables. - Judgeman and killerman, a piercing, paralyzing, grab back or shield breaker respectively, hardly any folders can't make use out of these. Available in * code. - Elementman, 4 elements breaking 5/10 crosses, 3 field changing effects, 1 unavoidable attack. Available in * code. - Muramasa, 500 damage!! And since 6's metagame became starforce lite... that's extremely useful. Life aura/sanctuary, VERY powerful defence, Falzar players could just blow away the aura but it's still good defence and good bait for a sword trap. Like oh say... Cross divide!! - SP navis: If they come in a useful code use them, if not, do they at least support the folder? You may even think that something that good is to good to pass up. - Elec sword, if it is in code spam it, ABUSE THE PARALYSIS SWORD!! If it is not in code it isn't too good. Elec sword breaks both aqua and tengu crosses, gains +50 from elec cross, can be charged by slash cross and is great during a beast out. - Triple N perfect, Assassin sword, numberball and Neovariable. They should be in ALL N coded folders, they're a little too weak to consider using off-code though.
So, just to close things off I'd like to say don't go overboard with off-code chips but do at least think the possibilities.

Just a few comments about what you said, Hot...
BN6 may be outclassed and obsolete, but, still. This brings up a good discussion about the best chips.
1. Judge and Killer Man chips - True, you can't make a 'good' folder without at least a V1 JudgeMan chip, but KillerMan... you decide.
2. ElementMan - Ahhh... another of my favorite Navi chips. I don't make a folder without having at least ElementMan * being in it. Of course, it's shining glory is still the unavoidable 'Meteor' attack.
3. Muramasa - I'd have to disagree with this one. Muramasa is the double edged sword of the series... literally and figuratively. Why? Well simply put, it requires you to take damage and as most of us know, that's a big 'NO' in the BN series. Not to mention, it's a last-ditch-effort chip. I'd prefer having a full Sword set to P.A. LifeSword than to have Muramasa.
4. Life-Aura & Sanctuary - if you're a beginner or if you're in a PVP battle, I'd suggest you use both. Once you get better, though, I believe it would be better to have Santuary and pass off Life-Aura with BubbleWrap. BubbleWrap has just 1 HP, but it regenerates every 10 or so seconds unless you're hit with an Elec or Sword based attack.
5. SP Navis - Personally, I can only name 5 chips that I would always use... namely: Roll, BlastMan, JudgeMan, ElementMan and GroundMan. ProtoMan's also nice, but in terms of strike force and combo-worth, the 5 listed above appeal to me more.
6. Elec-Sword - Ahh, yes. I do adore this chip. However, the downside is the attack speed of the thing. If you're fighting an enemy like SlashMan or Bass, I'd prefer MoonBlade since it hits all panels around you and causes an HP bug.
7. Triple N - Never heard of it. Not to mention, if you're not used to VariableSword (like me), it's a space eater. It's better to have FlashBomb, BugBomb and MachGun/Vulcan as a combo. Chance to stun, confuse, HP bug, Blind AND multi-hit... all at once.... however, I'm not sure if they come in the same code...
Other spammable (or splashable) BN chips (for me, at least):
- Super Vulcan (or Vulcan 3) - you decide. - Tornado/Static - You can have up to 5 Tornadoes in 1 folder. And for an extra challenge, have you entire NC bugged, then try out Static. - LifeSword PA - simple PA with simple chips, yet it hits hard and attacks fast. - DoubleHero PA - Recommended only for bosses you have a hard time with or when getting Record Times. - Wide-Shot - It hits all 3 panels when shot from the center and causes flinch. Coupled with Spout-Cross, you have a killing machine. - WaveArm/Reflect - when used at the right time and place, they deal huge amounts of damage. - TrainArrow - it hits 7 (or was it 6?) when both you and your oppnent are in the back row. Simply counter-hit and let it fly, or use Spout-Cross and charge it up. SuperArmor will allow you to use it without flinching. - FastGuage - makes potentially long battles go by faster.
