Glide- When you get the locator device, Glide will send you a beeping signal where a hidden path is found. ___ Coldman- Ice Element- Is based off of a refrigerator. Stage would be nearly carbon-copied from the first level of Ren & Stimpy from the Genesis game, with Megaman enemies. Weak against Mike Blaster, because the sound cracks the ice on which he stands. Coldman was already a Robot Master in Rockman & Forte. And don't forget, the good Dr. Wily only asked Astroman and the almighty Tenguman for their services twice! Also, Glyde was a port into Battle Network already, but not from Classic, but from Megaman Legends (aka Rockman DASH), where he's a villain. The brown outfit on both Glydes together with the name similarity should be enough "proof" imho. Edit: (not to mention your other Robot Masters aren't THAT glorious either)

...Oh yeah. That's right.
Plus, as sad as it is, I've...never...played Megaman Legends. So I did not know.
Other than that, I didn't want to make my RMs glorious. They were just my picks.

Why are you discussing Robot Masters if the ones have already been officially chosen by Capcom / Inafune?
I find it is a waste of time and effort, although they really could have done better with... Plug Man.

@glenn: Hence, I didn't include the Mavericks. This isn't really the place to discuss them, so I didn't say.
@fooz: Just expressing ourselves trying to phase out reality and make our way go as we always wanted... Just like Adam West.

Not only did they run out of RM ideas, but they're also ripping of previous MM stages:
Galaxy Man = Cyber Peacock/Ground Scaravich Magma Man = Flash Man/Mattrex/Volt Catfish (Xtreme2) Plug Man = Astro Man Hornet Man = Blast Hornet/Wheel Gator (except with bees instead of aircrafts) Tornado Man = Air Man/Tengu Man... I hate him for that.

...You forgot the most dangerous one, Bard:
Concrete Man = Guts Man

... Bard, you're really exaggerating rip-offs here from one sentence descriptions.
I mean, Galaxy Man. Freaking 8 bit Portal. That's unique. Plug Man... We've had disappearing blocks ever since Mega Man 1. It's required to have them in one level by now. Hornet Man... All we know is the level has bee enemies in it.
Oh, and while you're complaining about Magma Man, it was QUICK MAN with the OHKO Death Beams, not Flash Man.

@syaro: Ummm... It was blatant that Concrete Man was something of Guts Man. Even said so in the article, lol. ... Bard, you're really exaggerating rip-offs here from one sentence descriptions. And the Plug Man thing was, probably over-exaggerated, but with those descriptions and rip-offs, I can imagine how their levels would look like and how long they'd be. Oh, and while you're complaining about Magma Man, it was QUICK MAN with the OHKO Death Beams, not Flash Man. Sorry. I get confused since I haven't really played MM2.

I blame my utter obliviousness... -_-;; *goes to draw manga*
but the article did say Concrete Man was MM9's Guts Man and I know how much us teenagers love reading news articles. [/sarcasm]

At least the made the plot original, you've gotta admit that. I mean, the story basically says that Light is the bad guy this time. The RM "doors" even say "DR. L"! I bet at the end, you do find out Light did make the RMs but Wily somehow had a hand in his frame-up like brainwash him or something like that.

I think that Dr. Light will actually be the culprit, and Dr. Wily turns on his finished zero at the end of the game to defeat Light, but Zero goes wild, making Zero the last boss of the game..

Speculation time again! I think that Zero's gonna pull off his signature "OMG! I R HAX!" and come back to life and backstab MM while he's exiting ending the Classic series... for good!
