I agree with Hiroshi, why is no one questioning this?
And also agreeing with Hiroshi it should fill in plot holes, and make new ones as well. And I shall also purchase the game if it comes out, I don't care if it's for the wii or the DS, I might get both. Hopefully this one will have the charge shot. I''m apathetic as well.

I agree with Hiroshi, why is no one questioning this? False hope may be false, but it's also hope. Besides, there's no denying that the name being registered is for real.

I realize by now. At the moment, you cannot have stated for certain that it was definitely Capcom's doing, and it were not a prank of sorts. We only recently obtained information, after all.
What I do not comprehend is this:
When you expect something, but it turns out to be false, some of you are infuriated? It is understandable that one would feel an amount of disappointment, but to go to lengths such as blaming a company for not recognizing your ideas? What do they - the company - care? You will most likely purchase it anyways, and they can keep making money.
I am not meaning to point fingers at all, but I wish to determine why this happens. It's been aggravating me to no end.
However, getting back to the topic at hand, I enjoy the break back to '8-Bit style' of Mega Man, seeing as Mega Man (the classic) has never really worked well - or at least appealed to me - in terms of graphics when developed on.
His design is rather bland, and never really appealed to me outside of the Nintendo / Famicom. His design was born to be on the low-graphic systems of the time and if stretched to something like Super Nintendo / Super Famicom - or even 3-Dimensions - the character design for Mega Man just simply does not fit, especially when the Robot Masters he encounters have elaborate designs in comparison.
Now, yes, I realize my opinion is open for arguments and debates. I am simply clarifying that I enjoy the movement back to the original style of 'spriting'.
That is all, from me.

Meh. I wouldn't really care if it came out or not. I'm not really a fan of the Classic series. The only games I've played anyway are only MM8 & MM&B. What's best is if Capcom would do what SquareEnix & Nintendo do: Make a monthly. Something like CoroCoro, just to prove or disprove rumors, if ever. Personally, I kinda liked the ZXA Mini-game, Megaman a. Now, if only they allowed the charged shot and sub weapon...

"I would suppose a monthly would help. It would put an end to the undying questions we have here. But I still have one thing that's bugging me.
[rant]
Don't get me wrong, I love the classic series. But what Capcom's promising isn't really an appealing thing to throw to the public. As much as I've always wanted to play as Blues, playing as him as if he was still Breakman isn't what I had in mind. Plus, if they're recapturing 8-bit sprites, they had better run smoother than...well, something very smooth. Otherwise the game is just taking up space on the New-Gen consoles. Why release such a low-tech game on such high-performing platforms?

Not to mention the Robot Masters going to be appearing in the game. They're probably going to make up some new RMs, use Navis from the BN series that didn't have an RM counterpart, or a combo of both. My money is on option C especially for... ELEMENT MAN! *shot*

"Elementman, whose power would be Element Roulette, fails.
Gridman, whose power would be exploding footballs (a la Napalmman), also fails.
Blastman, whose power would be a rip-off of Atomic Fire, maybe.
Numberman, whose power would be Dice Buster which would start a roulette to show size of buster shot, more than likely.
Gateman, God I hope so. Using Gater in the Classic series would so own."

You forgot some other favorites and pests.
Beast Man = Expected to play similar to Boomerang Kuwagner. King Man = A continuation to the "Carnival" them, probably in some odd fashion. Sharkman = Ummmm... No comment. Judgeman = *Chester* I'd be insulted if they didn't!
And as an exchange for Break Man & Duo, SERENADE! >=D

Swallowman/Larkman feels sad.

I would've said Larkman, but we already have 8... Only ZXA has the right to more than 8 primary bosses whose powers you can attain. Aside from the Saturn version of Megaman 8... Dangit! I wanted to get Wood Sheild & Rolling Cutter so badly.

Your 4 plus Glenn/Turboman's 5 = 9, not 8.

*head-desk* I didn't notice Element Man. D'OH!
Sharkman? Meh... Alright, but I still say that Element Man should be out. I mean, how's his weapon supposed to work?

Then ignore Sharkman. He's already been done. Not officially. That PC game only was licensed by Capcom.
