I wouldn't count on it. People were really at others throats.

Question answered by Effexor for pointless reasons.
I suggest that this be moved to the CTT sub-forum.
And just for the record, I wouldn't count on it. This could be made into something annual since the last one was successful, but given that more people are starting to have a hectic schedule or are actually getting a life, I don't think a lot of us would be able to participate.
That's partly why I was happy to have lost the third round.

You can't say it's impossible. Someone else might set one up, but before it, try to plan how everyone would get there's in on time.

Someone else may set one up, yeah, but judging by how high tensions were during the first one, I wouldn't count on having another one set up my me.
At about the fifth round, I was so tired of people calling "BS" on everyone else's entries that I was really close to just calling the whole thing off. No one was really having fun anymore after about halfway, which really defeated the purpose of the event.
If someone can come up with a better way to execute it, then I guess there might be another CTT, but until such time... don't hold your breath.

A better way to execute... I'd say having only neutral judge, such as you (kayorei) or people like Quirino, Backfire and LightEffexor so no one could call unfair ratings I beleive I'm not the first one to say that >_>

Yeah, I suggested to Kayorei that for the next times there should not be a popularity contest, but rather a jury.
I would take, let's say 3, honest people who know the games - one of them being Kayorei - and let them give points, like Kayorei did. Everything will then be counted together and the entry with the higher amount of points proceeds.
That's how I would make it, but I guess even there some people would cry out bias.
Edit: And of course Arashi suggests his fanboy as a "neutral" judge. Naturally. =P

Hell, I'm the most neutral of the lot.
Because, unless Kayorei participates, I won't like any of the participants. Kind of like the mean judge from American Idol, et al.

Somewhat noticed that. Almost all entries received high marks, even though the ones that didn't go well for me. If anyone were to hold another one, then maybe a few OCTs would be the one judging. There would be no more "popularity battle", rather it was supposed to be a "best-challenge battle" (like what Kay just said). It's not on how popular LE is (for example ;D), but rather, how good his challenge was.
They broke the "essence" or "purpose" (like what Kay said, again)

Still, you're wrong... For the CTT, it was actually better to have a few viewers who gave high marks (like mine or Mannosuke's) than to have more viewers, but gave average marks.
The viewers were only 50%, and likewise with Rekai, I'm a picky person. Hmmm... I think I only gave 1 score worth 5 outside of the Style points, for that matter. Just can't remember who I gave that score to.

The viewers were only 50% That's still half of the result turning out because of biased subscribers or begrudging people. Thus, the need for neutral judges. If you include any "public opinion" into the Tournament, while a good idea in theory, it tends to just boil down into a popularity contest, like what Fay and Shuryou stated. I would support the idea of just a group of judges, selected from the neutral side of this community, but hopefully people who tend to understand enough of Challenge Taking in general to offer comments and critique as well as a rating.

No one was really having fun anymore after about halfway, which really defeated the purpose of the event. No one? I had fun right the way through, even when there was tension. Neutral judges are better as we won't have bias which has already been said I know but needs to be repeated again, I remember this particular quote from Rekai in my challenge: I'm almost sure you also made another account called GospelEXTREME to give me another bad score yet I don't have anything to prove it other than your unstoppable hatred towards me and that your normal youtube account is called Gospeldude. Meh i'll shut up now before a flame war breaks out. *runs*

Hmm... This panel of judges a la American Idol/ America's Got Talent... It's hard to find something like that.
We'll need a:
Simon = A naturally picky person who judges fiercely. Not as easily pleased as the others, but can still be pleased, nonetheless. If he likes it, he likes it; if he hates it, he hates it. There's no "in-between".
David Hasselhoff = Picky, but not as picky as Simon or his British co-judge in America's got talent. He holds his line usually on the borders because he's a double-edged sword, meaning he has an "in-between" score range. Don't try any cheap parlor tricks, though. He doesn't like that.
*Guest* = Lastly, you'll need a guest judge. He/she should be able to judge fairly and with perfect reason. There should be no dilly-dally with remarks since you still have 2 co-judges. The guest judge is also usually easily pleased and barely gives any "X's" or low scores.
