Hmm... I know I'm going to Moncton for a few days during my vacations (May 4th to may 15th) But I don't know how should I go. I mean, yeah, I'm going by train. But I have two ''ways'' to go there: 1-Leave may 4th at 9PM, and g straight from Quebec City (where I live) to Moncton 2-Leave at either 6am OR 7:50 AM To Montreal, Spend the day there THEN take the train From Montreal to Moncton, and Eventually go back From Moncton dirrectly to Quebec City. Assuming I get the supersaver fare (By preorering my Tickets a week in advance) I know : Option 1 will cost me 205$ (Round trip) and will take about 27h hours (Again, round trip added up, otherwise, it's only 13 hours, 30 mins) Option 2 will cost me 270$ (Both the Quebec-Montreal-Moncton and the Moncton Quebec trips) and I will be in a train for about 35 hours. I'll have my paycheck AND my Vacation Check this Thursday, so I really don't mind about price. But do you think a side trip costing 65$ more and having an extra 7-8 hours more to spend in a train AND a day in another city is worthwhile to you? (Assume that you are a train addict) In case you want to see where Are Quebec City, Moncton and Montreal located, a map of VIA Rail's service can be found Here!

Yeah, I was going to take option 2 myself... until I realised I will have less money than expected (Actually, I'll have the same ammount than predicted, only I'll have it 2 weeks later than planned) So I was forced to take option 1. Still, I know it will be a very awesome trip =D
You can lock this if you want, I already bought my tickets.
