Shinji, it's just an example of how you can use folders with a low chance of pulling out a quick win. I used the same PA to beat Bass GS today aswell. MomQuake is a VERY broken PA.

Just like Bodyguard PA in BN2. When fighting, one bodyguard does 1500 damage... provided that navi flinches and/or stays still.

EDIT: Well, now it's all navis from all BN games. Post any navi from Bass to Yamatoman. Airman is sad... Anyways... Do any of you have a good tactic againts Napalman on BN2? His panel breaking attacks drives me nuts! I never managed to defeat V3. Same for Pharaohman.

Isn't there a chip for airshoes? Or am I just thinking of BN 3? If he uses the turrets in BN 2 aswell, bomb type chips can really put the pain on him, those turrets can also be damaged by breaker chips and pierced by attacks like the fire buster. Sorry I can't be much more help Rashi, I've got no experience with BN 2 or 4.
I have a question though, there's one navi that can't be obliterated by my normal strategy. Kingman, my S folder is 70% useless against the existence of his pawns and my Y folder also fails but not quite so badly. Is there any tactic that can easily tear him to shreds?
If any other navis give an area lock BN3 folder problems, please go ahead and post an alternate strategy for me. Bass, is one example, he becomes more vicious when area locked, but Momquake still crunches his GS form.

Airshoes are in BN2. I'd recomend ultra bomb, lifesword3, gater, and water spread/geysers. I'll edit this with more later.

Lets see... NapalmMan - any Aura would help a bit against his turrets if I remember correctly. Do not use attacks that go straight, turrets will most likely block them. If you manage to grab his first column, LifeSword might be a viable option. If you REALLY need it, there is still the ever-cheap Prism+VarSwrd combo and Gater. Oh, and try to use ElementBalls as well, turrets may really pump their damage a lot. BubbleWrap may be a viable option. And here is an example of how could you fight him And here is it for PharaohMan.

WOW! You're on a roll! I've been having trouble with our good friend Bubbleman. I'm stuck with heat team style and don't feel like doing the hundred so battles just to get a new style, and only need his V4 chip to be done with him until his omega form.

Bubbleman, huh? If I can remember... a rockcube/pawn/rook in front of the hole where bubbles come out would help a lot. And you need chips that pierce through those obstacles. The heatstyle buster would be an option if upgraded enough. Once Bubbleman gets into a bubble and starts attacking, you'll need more than that buster. Attacks like Darkman or Plantman would be useful against him when he's in the bubble.

The easiest way to cheese through this battle would be placing any obstacle in front of the hole and using lots of bomb chips, like Dubl/Triple Bombs. And if you need to kill him fast, D-based folder may work wonders. It has three chips you may want : Snake, DarkMan and DrillMan. Snakes, when well used, may deal several hundreds of damage, same goes for DarkMan (AFTER AREAGRAB), and DrillMan may be luck dependant, but is nice finisher if he stays in a bubble below 100 HP.

I'd recommend a Y coded folder aswell. Yamatoman has an input code of ABABABABABABAB... Which makes him do more stabs. Bubbleman also stands on only one row making it a perfect attack style. If you're playing white you can also bring more Japanese fury with navi recycle or even balance if you have it (I don't so I'm not certain about using it.). Other useful things in a Y folder are Metagel1, life sword, shot meteor and auras.
For the record, lightning and bolt work wonders against bubbleman early on. And I believe MettKing's next style will be elec element, because the elements follow a set pattern.

Ummm... you got heatteam twice?!
Anywho, does anyone have an idea of some of the BN3 navi chip bonuses? I'm trying the ones for Mistman and I'm wondering about the others.

Apart from that: - Gutsman always moves to the front panels - Flashman can break AND pierce invisible/flinching - Beastman may have a code to attack more than once, but I don't know it. - Plantman breaks all objects and shields. NOT Auras. - Flameman has a code to increase the area of his flame, another one a know not. - Drillman's attack may work differently when arealocked, I can't test it. - Metalman can move if you hold A and use the directional buttons, the yellow square is where he will stand. He is also unaffected by holes. - Darkman gains more hits after a row is stolen. - Serenade has more accuracy when the enemy has less area AND can be equipped with navi+ chips.
For other games, the only input codes I know is Slashman and Shademan. Shademan dealing effects when a code is given. Slashman having the knives AIM for an opponent (like snake), just press B when they are spinning, each new row also needs the code to be repeated, this makes Slashman SP deal around 400+ damage with area grabs, painful.

IIRC, FlamMan's fire could be aimed in the same pattern as MetalMan was. DrillMan will work in the same pattern, only choosing panels that are on the enemy's side. If there are at most three panels of enemy navi, it'll hit three times. DarkMan will ALWAYS shoot certain number of bats (between 20 and 30 IIRC, making it very powerful, but luck dependant). No matter how many columns enemy has. If he has one, all bats will hit one column. Guess what... DesertMan's hands can be aimed (Hold A and push Up or Down.)

Great! Isn't there one for Mistman, though?
I am cursed with the inability to use DeltaRayEdge in ANY BN game
