Statement: I have just purchased, and recorded videos, with Dazzle DVD Recorder. However, there seems to be no way in the application itself to save videos as a .avi or .mpeg file to reduce file size. It saves only in 6 files, one of which is a .vob file.
Query: Is there a way to reduce file size (preferably into another video format) - aside from recording the video when it is running in another window?
Addendum: I do not have Dazzle Pinnacle Studio.

Request: Please name the other five file types that this program can save in.

Correction: I meant .vob, not .vof. Applying changes. Response: The separate files are not all movie files, but simply DVD files. They are as follows: .BUP .BUP .VOB .VOB .IFO .IFO There is one .VOB that contains the video to which I uploaded here.

Answer: If you are looking to convert these files into another format, then I suggest looking up a program by the name of "Any Video Converter." It is free and can convert multiple file types (including .VOB) into AVI, MPEG, WMV, and a few others. I have been using it for some time and have not found any problems as of yet.

Response: Ah, I see. If I encounter any errors, I'll report back.
