i know it's embarrasing, and it probably shows up on other computers, but how do you put the link in so you avatar shows up?

1. Use the Direct Link code you get from uploading an image. 2. On the forums, go to Profile, and Modify Profile. 3. Scroll down to where it says 'Avatar URL' and paste it in there. 4. Remember to edit the X and Y values accordingly. 5. Double-check to see if you got the code correct without any malformations.

Upload your avatar file to Photobucket after making an account there. It's completely free, and you can have as many files there as you like.

On another note, ImageShack does not resize your images should you upload larger ones, but they have more strict rulings about which URL to use where.
