Might as well start a new thread since Bard and I like Final Fantasy so much. This thread is about talking about Final Fantasy in general. Don't break out into an all out argument though. My first topic is the Final Fantasy Tactics games *The war of the lions for the psp, the one for the psx, and FFT advanced, and soon, FFT A2*

I have both the original and remake of FFT, which were good, but the original was my favorite. FFTA, was okay, but I lost it before I got all secret characters:(. I'm planning to get FFTA2, but it might be hard considering I have few other games I want to buy in the summer when they come out.

The FFT games are great, but it's kinda boring when you run through the game with all the great special characters*Orlandeau, Beowulf, Agrias, Balthier*for the psp** ect*and all the uber equipment. But if you're underleveled, it's fun, FFTA is great, I can't wait for FFTA2, I saw in the trailer a guy doing some sort of kamahama wave. I'm serious on there.

*cough cough*
I already made a thread like this once before. I don't know where it is right now though, nor do I remember the title. All I know is that it had Final Fantasy in it's title.
Maybe we should just revive that, if we can still find it, that is.
[EDIT]: But, since this is already here, I might as well ask, will the Atomos Summon in FF9 also affect bosses? I remember hitting Melti-Gemini for around 1000, but it's blury since it was about 2 years ago.

IF we find it, we'll leave that up to the mods, for now, let's use this, ok?

Never mind... I found it.But would someone please answer that question first? BTW, I know for a fact that Atomos doesn't affect floating enemies, especially floating bosses.

I dunno, I don't have FF9 sorry, I have FF X2, FFT: The War of the Lions, and FFTA. I also have FFIII for the DS. I think the best out of the tactics I have series so far is the PSP version of FFT.

I think I used Atomos once just for the fun of it (knowing full well about the past history of Gravity-style attacks NOT working) and it failed. Of course, it was a while back since I don't really use Atomos that much when I play, and it might have just been a normal miss, but it didn't work. If in doubt, you can always try it out for yourself.

Yeah, just try it, if it fails, oh well, just go on. And quick question, does anyone know where I could get a FF7 Crisis Core copy for the PSP?

I heard that the FFTA2 Atomos deals Earth damage this time around and not Gravity damage. But my memory's really, really blurry. I'm not sure if this is real or if my dreams were playing tricks on me, but I remember using him on Melti-Gemini once and it worked, though I remember that it only did, like, 1000 damage...

I have only ever played Final Fantasy X and FInal Fantasy X-2.
On X I am stuck on seymour flux, making me not want to play the game.
On X-2 i'm stuck on the farplane magus sisters, also making me not want to play the game.
They are very hard bosses in my opinion and I think i'll start a new game to get the levels I need.

FF VI and X-2 only here.
FF VI - right now doing no ultima or multi-hitting run. No multi-hitting = No soul of thamasa, Master's Scroll, Genji Glove and no Quick. Just thought that on my first run, battle against Kefka was WAY too easy. Just because I overleveled to survive Magic Master's ultima? Not even Kaiser Dragon gave me a challenge. >_<
X-2 - Stopped because I was playing at my sister's PS2. She lives like 1000 km away. >_<

*Looks at everyone...*
*breathes*
I've played: FF1&2:DoS (That counts as the originals), FF 4&5 Advance (Counted as the originals as well), FF6 (PS), FF9, FFT, FFTA and if we're also counting the non-FF title spin-offs, Chocobo Racing & Chocobo's Dungeon 2 (curse you corrupted saved data!).
*face-slaps* I forgot FF3:DS. D'oh! >.<
I'm also saving up for FFTA2 & FF4:Anniversary

*takes a deeper breath* I've played FF3 DS, FF5 Advance, FF6 Advance AND SNES version (though I didn't get anywhere in the latter due to still being young and the game being a rental), FF7, FF8, FF9, FFX, and FFX-2. Oh, and a bit of the original Tactics, but that was under conditions similar to FF6 SNES. Actually, you're right. Atomos officially doesn't deal damage to bosses. I mean the FF9 Atomos. I heard that the FFTA2 Atomos deals Earth damage this time around and not Gravity damage. Ah. Well, FF9 Atomos still deals Gravity damage, that much I'm certain on.

For Molletman on the Magus Sisters.
If you have the dark knight dress sphere, abuse the Darkness attack, if you're getting low of hp, heal, rinse and repeat. That's how I won.
On the subject of FFTA 2, I saw a screenshot on Gamefaqs that had a monster with a tomato for a head and it used an attack called Tomato Bite. What the heck is up with that. I have FF III DS, FFT for the PSP, FF X-2, FFTA, and planning to get FFTA 2.
