So, what about the Forbidden Kingdom? Any thoughts on that? But, it's been a week already, so I think they took it out of the movie houses already. I'll just wait for the DVD, but I wanna know if it's good first and lives up to the hype it's getting. I don't want spoilers. I just want some info of how good the story and casting is. Stop spamming or this will be reported.

Stop spamming or this will be reported. How is saying that IronMan rocks a spam? He has the right to like any movies.

Yes, but it's a simple three-word message, and besides one and two word posts, three word posts are also very frowned upon. And Fay already warned lynxeliwood enough, he's going to get a warn soon. I saw Speed Racer today. It was amazing. If you want my opinion, besides turning it into a matrix/f-zero/mario kart hybrid, it stayed rather close to the storyline of the actual anime. Outside of the races, the scenes were rather cheezy, though...

I've got a question that's a bit on the spoiler side:
Did they or did they not introduce a Mach 6 in the movie as the merchandise from Mattle & Lego first led me to think?
And another thing. Could someone please give me an overview of The Forbidden Kingdom, already. Please? Just how Jet Li and the others, especially Jet Li, played their roles in the movie. You know? Just like a movie review, but with absolutely no spoilers in regards to the twists.

Just like a movie review, but with absolutely no spoilers in regards to the twists. Yes the Mark 6 is in the movie. In a nutshell, it's a souped up Mark 5. A review of The Forbidden Kingdom? As you wish. The main character lives in Boston. (I think.) But somehow, he's brought to China through some magical force... Or something along those lines. The main character (Don't know his name...) bought this staff from a pawn shop, and he later learns that it was once wielded by the monkey king. (Who clearly has NO experience in fight scenes.) He's almost captured by some evil dudes when Jackie Chan shows up and beats the living &%$@ out of them. Chet Lee is at first portrayed as a bounty hunter, but then is realized to be supposed to find the person to return the staff to the monkey king. All summaries aside, this is a very good movie when it comes to plot, it has good humor at certain points, quite a few training montages, (which bore me to no end, but in this case, they were rather funny.) and fight scenes around every corner. The final battle scene is rather well done. I'd give this movie a 4 out of 5, because of the really bad quality of acting by a few people at certian points. I recommend seeing it. Happy now?

I wasn't exactly expecting Speed Racer to be a masterpiece, but regardless, I will see it someday.
I did see Iron Man on Saturday though. My words are, "SEE IT." I'm pretty well in agreement with DivineAll, the humor and action were very well-done.
=-=-=SPOILER TIME=-=-=
Who else thought that the "bad guy suit" near the end was really cool? It felt cyber-punk to me, what with the exposed hydraulic shoulders and all that.

After my shallow disappointment for Spider-Man 3, *coughVenomcough* I don't think I wanna watch any Marvel movies for a while. Does it have the uber-coolness who is *Marvel VS Capcom narrator* War Machine?

After my shallow disappointment for Spider-Man 3, *coughVenomcough* I don't think I wanna watch any Marvel movies for a while You hated S-M3? I though it was the best IMO... the second was far Worse. I didn't like it as much as I did the first. The second was cliche, but not bad, but for a former fan of Spider-Man cartoons, I can say that it was a, pretty much, a mediocre story. But the cinematics were awesome. But there's one thing good about it. And that's the Adventure Quest spin-off. In-game, they sold the best set of equipment (IMO) to commemorate the movie release. If you want my reasons, here you go: 2. Sand Man doesn't appear until after Spider-Man's prologue in the comics & cartoon and this was still the prologue. 5. Letting MJ know about him being Spider-Man during the prologue. She's not supposed to know until they get married. Dan Green gave the Spiderwick Chronicles 1 1/2 Dark Magicians out of 4... I give Spider-Man 3 a depressing 1 1/2 Dark Magicians out of 5! The hype was not enough to satisfy me. I needed something to look forward to and that wasn't it. It wasn't a waste of money. If it were up to just the cinematics and no story, I'd give it an uber 4 out of 5, but the story was not tangent nor was it something I would really like. It wasn't a waste of money and certainly not a waste of time, but it's not enough to satisfy me. [EDIT]: Had to delete most of the reasons due to spoiler-age... Sorry. I thought that everyone would've at least heard the spoilers somewhere else if the haven't watched it yet... But my primary reason is (in general) *WARNING SOME SPOILER-AGE* Bad-guy A becomes good and bad-guy B who's supposed to live through the sequels dies. And bad-guy A, who becomes a good-guy, almost as immediately dies... I absolutely hate that cliche unless the supposed bad-guy A is an anti-hero or a rival and technically not a bad-guy. And that's the one thing I hated about Masked Rider Faiz's last episode... It's quite similar to Spider-Man 3 with the whole bad-guy A scenario.

Those are SPOILERS, Bard. Especially 4 & 6. I'm sorry, but I thought that since it was a blockbuster last year that everyone would know them already... *deletes* I'm still keeping the others...

Does it have the uber-coolness who is *Marvel VS Capcom narrator* War Machine? That's what I assumed when I saw the main villain suit up in an War Machine-esque suit, but after further research, it turned out to be the Iron Monger. If you don't know who the crap that is, check on Wikipedia. Meanwhile, I look forward to watching Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull soon. Having never seen the previous Indiana Jones movies before, and with that crazy and catchy tune in my head practically 24/7, I look forward to watching an old Blockbuster series on the big screen rehashed.
