Okay, you know how in some emulators, it shows the speed percentage at top left? Well, on my DS emulator, the lag is so bad, that it's down to 13% at the highest. Someone explain how to fix?

Yeah I know, but you won't like it: How about you either get a better PC (Most N64 and later console need a very powerfull PC to emulate) or something WAY cheaper, you get a real DS? If it's about games that haven't been released where you live, how about you either wait, or get them over the internet? Seriously, DS is IMO not worth emulating >_>

I'd suggest trying to restart the computer, turning off any unnecessary programs, and if that doesn't work, attempt to get more RAM.
It should run smoothly on 512 MB of RAM, and a moderately decent video card. Check by going to My Computer -> Right Click -> Properties. On a Windows OS, anyhow.
Sorry if this doesn't end up actually helping you.

PCs are actually not supposed to run consoles, and that's the reason why newer consoles (N64, PSX and upwards) are lagging at a lot of games.

You can find some bundles in ''storage stores'' The DS + 2 games for about 180$. If you don't like the games, sell them to get other games. Also, getting it from Ebay/Amazon is a pretty good alternaive too

Use No$GBA 2.6a or iDeaS. I use no$gba. And yeah, I have terrible RAM. Maybe I should fix that... Oh, and I own a DS in real life, too. I need the good-running emulator for recording purposes.

So you need the Emul to record... no that changes everything (you should seriously have specified that, if you did, I wouldn't have answered that sarcastic answer >_>) But seriosuly, some webcam do a pretty good job at recording DS screens

Not so much the nintendo 64 actually I have a great emulator for that which I use for Kirby 64, it is a apparently the best at emulation however needs a good PC to run it. Anyway I'm not surprised the DS won't run properly, as I said before my computer is very fast and can run the nintendo 64 emulator well but it can't run DS emulators very well >_>.
