Ohhhh! So that's what he meant! Yes. It's doable. In fact it's the best tactic for the pre-boss serpent, cuz his arena has no spikes, but you have to be careful when they turn or switch directions or dive.
The one near the Armor part's a bit more tricky, cuz his arena does have spikes and if he suddenly dies while over spikes, you'll fall in cuz he'd become in vulnerable and no longer an enemy nor a platform.

Well, not much time left before the official end of the round, so it's best I get my opinions out there now. Scoring!
---
Armadox Round 1
Style: 3 (It's not easy working your way through Launch's stage without taking a hit. Some of those jumps were really close. Kinda clumsy against the boss, though, with a couple of novice slips.) Mistakes: 0 Implied Ease: 4 (Even with those, you still made this look pretty easy. Might be because you skipped most of the minibosses.)

Bardpado Round 1
Style: 3 (A little clumsy at the boss, but still okay. Autofire's a little unfair, considering this is looking for human skill at the game, not exploiting the abilities of the machine.) Mistakes: 0 Implied Ease: 4 (You must really know your way around this level, but Launch didn't really look that easy.)
---
Looks like we've got a tie here. You both did equally well in my opinion. Great in the level, flopped on the boss... it'll be a tricky one to call.
The final judgements will be given Wednesday (or Tuesday 11:59 PM, CST as usual), with all the finishing touches (including ADB points). Remember, this score is anything but the last word, so even if you may have lost by my personal score, I'm only one of several others who have voted.
