I guess I'll have to go on Capcom's side this time. Simply put, it is never said Albert created Model V/W from scratch. It may be possible that Albert created Model V/W from the parts of Ragnarok, thus making no contradiction in this very case and ONLY in this very case. No, it isn't. However, it is in fact stated in the original that Ciel found Model V/W from Ragnarok's remains shortly after the events of MMZ4, of course being before the Sage Trinity was formed and Albert came into power. So, there's no way he could have created it at that time.

Pardon a ZX newbie for interjecting, but is it possible at all for there to be multiple Model Ws and the one that Ciel found was simply the original? Albert could simply have made copies, if I understand correctly.
Feel free to correct me.

Albert could simply have made copies, if I understand correctly. Feel free to correct me. Hmm......I considered that, too, but Albert makes the claim that he created it... There's also the whole "merging into Ouroborous" thing that doesn't make much sense. I mean, consider it for a minute: if Albert just made copies of the original and added the ability, then there would still be one Model that wouldn't merge in: the original itself. On the other hand, if it already had that trait...well, why would it if it was alone? In fact, if he created the Model V/Ws, why in the world would he have scattered them all over instead of fusing them right then and there? To absorb all of those souls, right? Let us not forget the nature of the particular consciousness inhabiting this Model...

True, he claims he created it, but you also have to consider Albert's got a bit of an serious ego. As for the Ouroboros thing... well, if I knew for certain what Model W looked like in the original ZX, then I could argue there. No one said any theoretical "original" was included in the Ouroboros, not to mention that it's proven that not all Model Ws are required to make the complete Ouroboros.
As far as I'm aware, ZXA's Model W didn't really seem to have a consciousness. More like an animalistic instinct.
Oh, and what about the things floating around him in the cutscene that plays when Albert reveals he's the villain fairly early in the game?

In the original ZX, model W look pretty much like those in ZX1.

You should at least try to borrow a copy or something, just so you know the story, anyway. Those "things" around Albert were the actual "Model W" pieces, like you would use to transform and such. It's from the original game, hence why they added it in for the shock element. Captain Olimar! Effing Captain Olimar! CAPTAIN OLIMAR!!! Why HIM?! He's... Captain Olimar! JESUS!! D:< Seconded, thirded, fourthed, fifthed, and so on. Really, Captain Olimar gets in, but not some of the other favorites??

If they don't put in Ridley as playable character now that they included Olimar, I'm gonna be REALLY mad at HAL and Nintendo. And I mean REALLY mad.

Captain Olimar is originally (excuse me, Kayorei) f***ing 4 cm tall! They can shrink Bowser, why shouldn't they be able to shrink Ridley? Besides Ridley is a (excuse me again, but I'm REALLY annoyed by him now > ) f***ing dragon, if anything. Now go, do your homework and play Metroid. I can imagine KRAID being a boss, but Ridley CAN be a playable character. Edit: And yes, I AM a Ridley-Fanatic. >

Lets agree on "Alien Dragon Thingy" ok. And Meroid never mentioned ridley being a Dragon, Unless I missread my Metroid Fusion, Zero Mission, and Metroid 2: Samus's Return instruction manuals
And that's why I said "if anything, he would be a dragon, not a bird". He's a Space Pirate. Read the post below. -Fay

Calling him a bird is like calling Dedede a hamster, it's just not right. Birds have feathers, guess what Ridley doesn't have?
He's the goddamn Space Pirate Dragon.

He is the leader of the Space Pirates, yes. Maybe some of them think he's a God, like the Egyptians did with the Pharaoh, but he actually isn't.
