If you've played FF5 Advance, you'll see that there's an empty space in the Summon magic listing. a friend of my friend played it during vacation (before he could boast about it) and got the final summon.
He said it was Neo-Bahamut and it wasn't a hack! It was authentic according to some people, but he said he wasn'table to complete the list either cause his friend didn't know how to get to Carbuncle. (WUSS!)
So, could someone shed some light on this, cause I'm playing through right now and I'm gonna try to get him.
Oh and 1 more thing... He wasn't obtained via a boss battle with Neo-Bahamut or any other boss cause the boss list and bestiary were at 99% or so and without any new monsters. Now that's where it gets confusing.

Neo-Bahamut is not a Hack!?! I need to Get it.
Did he kill Neo Shinryu in Euno's Duengon? if not there is the missing enemy.

Not enemy. Summon! He didn't get Carbuncle because of lack of inquisitiveness.
@le: Well there are the 3 basics: Chocobo Remora Sylph
Then we got the 3 Elementals: Ramuh Ifrit Shiva
The 6 "protectors": Titan Golem Catoblepas/Shoat Carbuncle Syldra Phoenix
Then Lastly we have the 3 "Gods": Odin Leviathan Bahamut
They all add up to 15.
When you go to the in-battle list, there's an empty slot, but in the main list it's all full meaning there is a secret to behold.

In the original SNES-FF5 there also was a slot left out at the summons.

Hmmm... I'll have to interview that "friend" of his someday and ask how he got it. But for sure it wasn't a hack. Reason? Animation and design were totally different from Bahamut's and it was done in a month. So I highly doubt it's a hack.
@gbds: What part of "Summon, not enemy" do you not comprehend? Not all Summons are bosses. And what the hell does the Bestiary have to do with a secret summon? He didn't have any new bosses or monsters in the Bestiary when he got his game back!

You have to fight Carbuncle, though.

Yes, but in FF5 you have to fight Carbuncle in order to get him (hence the 99% of the monster database). And in the original FF5 for the SNES there also was one slot missing.

I didn't mean that he had an incomplete Bestiary! I know you have to fight Carbuncle, (Who's a big spaz.) but I meant that he lacked a Summon and that the Bestiary completion had nothing whatsoever to deal with it. Plus, we haven't gotten to 99% Bestiary completion before.
Way to make this confusing GB!
What I said was, "99% or so", meaning I wasn't sure because he wasn't able to show me, but all the bosses except, for maybe Carbuncle was beaten... And he only gives you the Carbuncle Summon. So I'm not sure if lacking a Summon had anything to do with it cause my other friend didn't get Catoblepas and I think Shiva as well, but he didn't get Neo-Bahamut.

And I repeat again - in SNES version of FF5 there was a free slot as well.
