Something made you mad, frustrated? Someone made you want to kill/hit someone/thing? Well I kinda created this thread for this very reason =)
If anything (may it be someone said something you didn't appreciate, or simply something in a video game you found very hard/Frustrating) Say it here to lay off the steam a little. I'll start with something that happened to me last night!
In pokemon XD, I was climbling the Mt Battle to get a Jotho Starter. Condition to get a Jotho Starter: COmplete all 100 battles (with pokemon from level 7 to 70) Without ever quiting (saving and loading is alowed tho) and switching pokemon (there's a PC at every 10 battles)
Well, it took me several hours to get to battle 100, and what do I get? A cheap Uber user that killes every single member of my team in one hit, and almost always cause critical hits whe his pokemon hits me. On top of that, when I load my game and change the order of my pokemon, he always change it to match my weakness! When I quitted at Battle 100 I was like: AAARRRGH!!!!

Ah, I got a good one. What's up with stereotypes about nerds/dorks/geeks? When did, all of a sudden, we all become gay if we were guys, and flat-chested if we were girls? When did the mainstream video game of jocks become Madden NFL, and N/D/G's become Pokemon? WERE the producers of Sony under the influence when they made the PS3? I mean, COME ON! you've got to have some platform-exclusives for your release!
WELL, I'LL TELL YA!
I have no idea... ;D

Okay, Battle Revolution rant time. Those not familiar with the Trade Battle system in that game might not understand, but, hey, this is a thread for venting, is it not?
Anyway, first thing first. The Weaviles that you run into. What don't I like about them? They'd be great in battle, if only they carried Focus Sashes. They always seem to carry Scope Lenses, which is a good item, but the problem here is, Weavile has too many weaknesses, and too little defense to protect against said weaknesses. I don't get it. The Sneasel the game starts you out with has a Focus Sash, why not the Weaviles? It's just annoying.
The Infernapes are no better. Sure, they have good default attacks, but both of them harm Infernape in some way (Close Combat lowers both of its defensive stats, and Flare Blitz damages it). Not fun, you know? Hell, at least the Blazikens have Sky Uppercut, which isn't as powerful as Close Combat, but it doesn't hurt them in the process.
Then there's Honchcrow. Oh dear. It's just a freaking waste. They look so cool! I love their battle animations, especially their fainting animation where they tip their hat at you. But they just aren't that good. They're attack is high, but their defense is lacking. I could live with that, if their speed was high as well. Alas, there are too many things that can outrun it. Rotom can outrun it! And Rotom isn't particulary fast, either.
Next on my hit list are Pokémon that have lousy abilities when they could have better ones. Machamp, Togekiss, Skuntank, and Starmie fall into this catagory. They have the ability to know No Guard, Serene Grace, Aftermath, and Natural Cure, respectivally. Do you run into any Machamps, Togekisses, Skuntanks, or Starmies with those abitilies? Nope. They opt to have Guts, Hustle, Stentch, and Illuminate, respectivally. What the hell?! Stentch and Illuminate don't even have any use in Battle Revolution! I mean, Hustle's alright, I guess, but it pales in comparison to Serene Grace. And if the Machamps know Guts instead of No Guard, why bother giving them Dynamic Punch?! That move is almost useless without No Guard!
What's really screwed up about that, however, is that the Togetic and Machoke that you get in the begining do have Serene Grace and No Guard. So, what, the starters can have these abilites, but the more powerful guys can't? That's rediculous.
Lastly, the trainers are annoying. I think I covered this in the Name weird things about Video Games thread, but they can go from stupid to smart in the blink of an eye. I mean, they use tactics that are so stupid, tress could come up with a better strategy (using Ice Fang on my Ludicolo when my Togekiss is right next to him), and then they pull out an uber-cheap move that wipe out my top guys (ganging up on my Metagross when all of its attacks are effective against the enemy's party). It just gets on my nerves. They do this every time that I try to get rid of some of my weaker Pokémon. Especially now that I'm trying to get rid of Charmeleon and Rotom, both of whom don't make good fall guys.
Well, I'm done. Good night, and god speed.

And while we're talking about Pokémon... GAH. All I want to do is breed a move (Toxic) from a Roselia to a Slowpoke so I don't have to waste a TM. I did a little research and found that the shortest route is through Turtwig. So I have a (male) Torterra and a Ditto (borrowed from Mal). Unfortunately... like any starter, there's only a one-in-eight chance of getting a female, which I need to breed with a male Roselia to make a Turtwig with Toxic (so it can pass the move onto a Slowpoke). That's basic move-breeding knowledge, but still. I didn't think 12.5% would be so bad... until about fifteen male Turtwigs later. Ugh... I think I'd sooner hatch a shiny Turtwig than a female one...

Funny, I got a shiny Chimchar hatched before I even got a female one once. But that aside... You can also get the TM for Toxic at the Battle tower. Though I prefer to find someone to trade me one... Getting 80 points for TM 26 or using one that one of my Pick up Pokemon found, I'll go with the last one. My latest irritation in Pokemon: breeding Tauros. I have been going on with breeding for good IVs in attack, good IVs in speed, the right nature and right ability. Oh boy, I thought it would go easy. Either I got one out of 4, then 2 out of four and maybe 3 out of 4, if I was lucky. It took me 2 freaking days till I finally got the right one. NEVER shall I breed a Tauros again. NEVER!

You can also get the TM for Toxic at the Battle tower. I know. But at only three BP per completed set (in Doubles, anyway), I don't know if it's worth the wait when I could just breed into the move, especially since I'm also trying to save up BP for a Razor Claw (I want another Weavile) and/or one or more of the Power items. But that's another rant for another day.

Thanks for the offer, anyway. My trouble now is getting a Farfetch'd. Now let's get back on track. If we have anything else Pokémon to talk about between the two of us, let's take it to PM, okay? ^_^*

Yay, venting time! Today's topic: The Irate Gamer (just a little bit, though) All right. I'm, sure some, if not most, of you know about the Irate Gamer/AVGN thing. Well, I'm not picking sides, it's just that some of the stuff Chris says/does piss me off. I'll go by review, not in any particular order. If you like him, please don't flame me. I'm just stating my opinion. Back to the Future: It's all right if you complain that you have to hit 50 enemies to complete the level, but come on. What you compare it to is idiotic! "Not even 50 levels in Super Mario Bros. There aren't even 50 weapons in The Legend of Zelda! There aren't even 50 levels in Mega Man 1-6 combined!" One, 50 enemies that only run up to you is a LOT different from doing 50 seperate levels, and having 50 different weapons. (And going off of the Zelda games, you'd need like 50 dungeons for those weapons.) Two, you forgot the Wily, Cossak, ProtoMan, and Mr. X stages in your count, buddy. Ghost and Goblins: Yes, the game is hard, but you just suck at it. Super Mario Bros. 2 (USA): All right. You took a perfectly good game and make it seem crappy. You say that finding a mushroom is easier then killing just 5 enemies? Wow. You must be some kind of pacifist or something. Also saying that Toad sucks? I LOVE using Toad. It's kinda like Mario, except you move faster and jump higher while carrying something. Also, collecting 5 cherries isn't hard at all. You also aren't at the top of the screen the entire time, either. Also, how long did it take you to figure out that the one USA got isn't the real Super Mario Bros 2? When I was freaking 4, I knew it played differently, so I thought it was probably similar to a different game. And it wasn't not brought over because it was too similar. If that was the case, we wouldn't have Mega Man 2-6. It was because it was deemed "too hard for America." Let me tell you, they're hard, all right, but I DID end up beating them. Muscle: Play it for more then 5 minutes, plaease. TMNT: We all know that this is probably his most controversial review to date, being almost identical to the AVGN's review. But the reasons as to why he says TMNT2: The Arcade Game sucks are stupid and ignorant. One, it's a freaking 8-bit system! Why would you expect 16-bit (?) graphics? Also, being not that strong of a performer compared to an arcade machine, why'd you expect 4-players? Do you see 4 comtroller spots on the NES? No. Also, if there were 4 player plus enemies on screen at the same time, imagine the disappearing sprites! God. Be more understanding with the hardware. Zombies Ate My Neighbors: LuizPrower has a few good videos on this one, so I'll save my fingers. That's all I feel like doing.

Something that Iritate me a LOT Game: Final Fantasy III DS (NES isn't as much an asshole as this the DS) It's extremly infuriating when you complete quite a long Dungeon *Cough* Crystalandowentower*cough* but can't save at all! If you get killed, you must start the whole dungeon from the very start! I also hate when bosses (who can attack twice a turn) Have status inducing Physical attack. Look at what happened to me, I had a white mage, a Warrior, a Black mage and a Monk againts Medusa (I had 1 echo herb) Turn 1: Medusa use it's physical attack agiants my WM. WM is now silenced. Meedusa missed it's petrifiying attack Turn 2: -I heal my WM's silence with an echo herb -Medusa uses a second level Magic (I think it was Fira) on everyone -Medusa uses it's physical attack againts my WM. WM is now silenced AGAIN! Turn 3 -Medusa uses it's second level magic on everyone again! Black Mage and Monk dies -Medusa misses it's petrifying attack Turn 4 I can't heal -Medusa silences my warrior (wtf) -Medusa uses it's level 2 magic AGAING! -Everyone dies... And the tower of owen is the longest dungeon before you get to the main continent. And don't get me started on the Crystal tower which can easily take over an hour to complete (I included the dark world part )

That kinda reminds me of a mission I did in Final Fantasy Tactics Advanced. I was doing the one before the Exodus battle, and that took me some 45 minutes. (God, those battles are LONG!) Then Marche turns himself in to the authoreties (which is what he tried to do before the battle started, but they didn't listen (who knows why..?)) and he has a talk with Judgemaster Cid. THen Babus comes in, and being the jerk he is, starts ranting on Marche for trying to get back to the real world, but Mewt (a prince in this world) is happy in this world, and doesn't want to go back, so he's been after his friend Marche's head for a while. Theeen a rift in time/space/whatever shows up, and I'm like, "F*ck. A totema fight." I was hoping to see a "Would you like to save?" screen some up before the fight actually began, but no.
Anywho, Cid is the Judge in this fight, and it's only Marche against Babus and the Exodus fruit. (Which do nothing.) Babus opens with Demi, and I'm like, "All right, I hope he doesn't have any high powered attacks..." and when it's my turn, I tried to get away from him and killed a fruit. (Because I thought if I got rid of the fruit, the battle would end.) The Babus tries to use Explosion, and I'm all "WTF? I hope this is a battle you're supposed to lose to!" But he missed. I then killed more fruit, and he kept missing. Then, he finally hits me with it, and I'm like "I hope that was supposed to happen, but then I see "Game over" and I'm all like, "F*CK! A whole freaking hour just to die!"

Since we are talking about FF, I hate the end of FFV Advance. I was at the duengon before the true void. I beat the boss and kept using an escape spell. Then Exdeath came. I was confident of my Skills. (Team was Gladiator, Freelancer[Ninja mastered and summon w/ Daulcast], Mime[Dualhold, Daulcast, White, and Time], and Knight[Self explanitory]) Anyways, I beat the first form then Neo Exdeath appears. I beat all 3 heads. then the skeleton head is left (being more powered cuz the other heads are dead). Skeletion uses Delta Magic (The spell that kills you AND stones you). mime is dead. then my knight uses Meditate. Now he uses METEOR!!! Freelancer is dead. Gladiator uses Blitz. another Delta Magic. FRreelancer is dead. Gladiator uses quick and Blitz x2. 1st hit misses. Then METEOR!!! Everyone Died. When I restarted I was like "O SHITBURGERS!!! I FORGOT TO SAVE!!!" So I had to do the WHOLE DUENGON starting from World 3. I was sooooo Mad. Gladiator=Krile Freelancer=Faris Mime=Lenna Knight= Bartz(Gaara) KRILE=LV 50 FARIS=LV45 BARTZ(GAARA)= LV 65 LENNA=LV55 NOW YOU SEE WHY I SUCKED World 3 is Bartz'sFaris's world and Krile's World merged. After you beat Exdeath's Castle.

Hmm... I had two of my party mastering White Mage... They both did really well. I had no trouble at all with Exdeath, he was the easiest final boss in the FF series for me back then. o.o
