Um..Hi. I'm new here. I'm DanielofDarkness. Aside from being wierd, I should not be feared (Hey, that rhymes!).
I've only recently stumbled upon the ever growing challengers...group. I've wanted to take challenges myself, but currently am unable due to a lack of certain equipment and lack of sufficient progress in games.
I'm a fan of a lot of stuff...Megaman, Kirby, Pokemon (Stop laughing! ;>_>),Final Fantasy.....
I'd continue, but I'm rambling. I hope to have a fun time here!

Welcome, no-one will be laughing (and if they are, send them to me, mkay?). I like all but Pokémon, I grew tired of the little monsters.

Good evening. My name is Gameseeker18 and I guess that I am a big fan of the Battle Network series. Although I do not own every single Battle Network game, I have beaten every single game excluding 3 (Blue), 4 (Blue Moon), 4.5 (I REFUSE to emulate it, it's illegal) and 6 (Faltzer). So I guess I really have enjoyed this series for quite a while.
I stumbeled upon the concept of MMBN challenges in YouTube about two weeks ago and the first challenge I saw was from Kayorei about fighting Alpha (MMBN3's final boss) with a buster glitch. I assumed that she would succeed, but I was certainly on the edge of my seat while I watched Kayorei struggle to complete the challenge. I mean, of all of the final boss fights to have your buster fail, it must have been murder for Kayorei. Gospel, not a problem; Duo, not to bad; Nebula Gray, meh; but Alpha is probably the only final boss where using your rapid buster is rather manditory.
Well ever since I saw that movie, I have been watching dozens of other MMBN challenges, but mostly the challenges for Kayorei. I really loved the concept and I'd like to give it a try, but I don't know the first thing on actually recording my fights unless I probably emulated them (which would be legal if I do own the real thing, but again I'd rather not touch that). I'll stick to watching the challenges, though giving one would certainly be a change. The problem is, I don't know a good challenge for Kayorei or anybody else for that matter. >_>;;;
My interests are practically any video game I come across (hence the nickname Gameseeker) but my all time favorite is the Megaman series. Unfortunetly, even though this is a Battle Network forum, my favorite series in the Megaman genre was from the Legends (or D.A.S.H. in Japan) series even though we only got two of those games. My favorites go in the order of Legends first, then Battle Network, then Classic (NES/SNES), then Zero&ZX and finally X (X wasn't bad, but it lost some of it's luster after X5).
Well I kinda ranted a bit, sorry about that. I certainly hope I can be an active participant in this forum and possibily take on the challenges of other people in the future.

I second Fay.
To record from the GBA, you need:
The game you're going to play GameCube Game Boy Player A TV (duh) USB cable thingy A computer.
Well, the computer is no problem, and my cousin works at a computer hardware store, so the USB cable is not much of a hassle, but the thing that kills the whole plan is the TV. My parents (more specifically my stepmother) doesn't like videogames, and while they don't care when I play them on the computer (that's on my room, which is quite isolated), they get angry when I try to play them on the only TV I can touch, the GIANT PLASMA SCREEN TV that's on the living room. That's the reason I got a DS for Christmas instead of a Wii and the reason I must emulate to take challenges.

I use emulators, because I'm too poor to get the real things.
Rockman 4.5 is pretty fun. I'm starting it with Forte (What? I like his spread buster attack. If Starman's charge was a little faster, I'd get him.)
But, yeah. Welcome. Nice Avatar, Kay, but my squid is better.

I've played 4.5 but I can't any more because of a glitch in my emulator I can't play it any more As for me, I use the VBA emulator. It has AVI recording built into it so I don't have to do anything too complicated. One thing. Some people have tried to hack MMBN 6 a lot. I highly DO NOT recommend using hacks on MMBN 6 as they can end in potential and even permanent damage to the emulator. I've learned from experience. Only people with high experience with emulators should use those codes, especially the "99 of every chip" code.
