Games: Dawn of war: dark crusade Dawn of war Dawn of war: Winter assault

Well, I'd try Warhammer myself... if the game wasn't 50$ for ONE character >_<

I tried to get into it, I bought one box of Eldar scouts, but then my brain kicked me in the nuts and said "the hell's wrong with you?!" So I sold them to my friend who's actually IN to the thing. I got $40 out of it.
Seriously. Every time he drags me with to buy them, I always say, "so how much have you spent on these things? $300+ ?" This was before he got a 360, and I always said, "if you want a freaking 360 so bad, the why are you always getting these yay-high pieces of plastic every week?"

Dear FAILman:
This forum has not enough basement nerds with no lives such as yourself to have a discussion on this lame excuse for an even unfunnier(which by itself it's extremely unfunny) World of Warcraft.
Please leave, and while you're at it, shoot your balls off.
Sincerely,
Reality.

Because you aren't interrested in this doesn't mean no one is. If no one is, thne this thread doesn't need lock, it will die by itself. Beside, Even tho I won't ever PLAY this, I am interested enough to watch people play form time to time.

Geez, don't feed the troll.
On the topic of Warhammer 40k, I tried it out a few years ago with my brother. I played as Tao and Tyranids, while he went for regular Warhammer as Lizardmen. We both stopped after about a week, seeing that the extraordinary prices wouldn't go down.
Ah well.
EDIT: I have a few friends who still play, one of which is really into Chaos (40k).

Don't bash anyone's fandom when you yourself are posting on a forum strickly made for geeks to beat other geek's challenges in video games. This isn't the pot calling the kettle black, this is a black pot with a megaman sticker on the handle poking a black pot with a Warhammer 40k sticker. Personally, I like the Warhammer game, and tend to try to find pick-up games when I go to events, like Dragoncon. The characters and strategy is top notch to be honest, even if I prefer Heroclix myself.

Yes the models are most derfinately expensive, however the games are just as much as one of the models, and give you all the armies. (Not including Tyranids, Dark eldar or the sisters of battle) They are bringing a new game out soon, hopefully it has the Tyranids in it.
Oh and Rekai you can go shoot your own damn balls off. I am in reality and if this is what I like to do, then so be it. God if Kayorei or Fay made a thread like this you would most certainly not say something like that >_>.

When I play i tend to hunt down a platoon of Orks to play with. Tyranids are rather rare to come across compared to Space Marines, Orks, or hell.. Necrons.

I'm talking about the computer game Dawn of war. (Winter assault and Dark crusade) They were very fun and I still play on it now. I wish I could use the tyranids though, people have brought out a "tyranid mod" however it makes them needlessly weak and unable to kill ANYTHING at range. Now I know the Tyranids are weak at range but they aren't THAT weak. Also it doesn't let me play online >_>.

I can't see any purpose in making a Warhammer 40k video game, let alone playing it. The purpose of Wahammer is the same as M:tG in that it allows you to play strategy with friends.
If I wanted to fight faceless opposition, I'd play Starcraft and Warcraft III back to back. What are Tyranids but zerg with a diffrent name?

The game is VERY good but only a really powerful PC can run it unfortunately, it also has an online mode so you can play friends anyway.

An online mode you can't use, so there's no means with which to play against you anyways. The game might be good, but it seems like it'd be hollow. The purpose of Warhammer is to build and paint the models, to really give your army a soul as you add your touches to it. Then challenge others with your platoon, to cut that out would just be any ol' RTS.
