Well some people might want certain items in, I mean most people don't want items but if everyone thinksit would be better I can set items in and they can't be changed. As far as I'm concerned, too many items are too broken for usage, so I prefer none. It'll only end up in complaining about losing due to items and not skill though Actually I think your right! Ok new rule no more items in the voting as it will be set to none except for smash ball as the final smashes are the characters attacks and aren't always easy to break. Anyway more than one stock should make up for the smash balls anyway.

name: Molls friend code: 2320-7588-4046 time: gtm +1 recording equipment: No Team: Kirby, Dedede, Ganondorf, Falco
win rule: stock items: low, smash ball, assist trophy, pokeball, containers, no bob-bombs. Other: NO FINAL DESTINATION!!
I use the same game as Mollettman, but my in battle name is H-H5.
Items: should be on because they are half the chaos.
Stock: should be on because hit and run is far more common than suicides.

4 man, eh? I think it should be 3 man. WHat if I win AND lose with 2 characters? Tie?

I plan on making a four man team because it makes it more interesting. What will happen is, you battle 4 times and each time each person chooses 1 character (so long as they haven't used it before in the same round) and battles using it, and after that character has been used you may not use it again in the same round. The person who wins the most matches out of the 4 is the winner. If it is a draw (one won 2 and the other won 2) you both choose random as your character and whoever wins that is the winner of the round. In my opinion it makes the round more interesting and gives you more chance to win, even if you lose one battle.

Even so, that was a good point brought up. When it comes to "best of X number" matchups, it's more logical to use an odd number to eliminate the need for a tiebreaker altogether.
Just a thought.
Oh, and I updated my entry with my friend code.

Oh, and I updated my entry with my friend code. And after some though... isn't a 4 man team going to be a bit too long? I strongly vote for a 3 man team instead, which will reduce the time AND the risk of a tie breaker.

I'm all for four man, meh, it's a bit longer, but you get a chance to bring out the A team you use during the game (I believe you get a choice of four heroes during the game anyways)
Stop complaining..

Armadox is right in my opinion. A random battle in the event of a tie would be more interesting too.
Anyway I would like to say that you CAN change your team around in between matches! In this case i'm replacing wolf with Zelda/Shiek.
Also to Armadox your brawl code is the code you use on wifi, if you check your friend codes it will come up with your name, click on that and it will show:
Name Picture Words in taunts Your own quote Brawl code
You can edit ALL of these except for the brawl code.
EDIT: We now have 11 entrants i'm not sure whether we will get 20 entrants maybe 12 will do! Ok one more entrant and I will get this prepared.

Although I've gotten my Wifi USB Connector now, I have problems with setting it up. I don't know if I can really participate.
However, Mollett, always keep in mind the different timezones and the fact intercontinental matches tend to lag.

Or just terrible Wii Wi-Fi.
Arashi can account for the massive 'slide-show' lag we had during a match.
All in all, this doesn't seem too terribly planned out, though a popular idea nonetheless. I suggest gathering feedback for now, and then starting the tournament in a week or two.
However, I do not run this, and as such, feel free to disregard this.

I know what you mean Foozdude, however if in 2 weeks we don't have 12 members i'm not sure whether I can do it, or if Fay doesn't manage to set up the USB connector then we will have 10 and that would work too. (Please don't take offence as I don't mean any)
Also I am fully aware of the lagg and time zones, if we don't get a round finished all we have to do is wait, I am in no hurry to start this off, but anyway I do want it to go well. Anyway if we do have to wait it will be fine i'm sure you guys are patient.

Couldn't you make it a little sooner than 2 weeks or so? I mean we have enough members for an 8 person tourney and the Wi-Fi lag on Brawl isn't incredibly bad if you're playing with friends... at least I don't think so. I've always played against random opponents on Brawl Wi-Fi so I'm not 100% sure about this. Can someone confirm this for me? Come to think of it, does the same concept also apply to Mario Kart Wii, even though Wi-Fi is so so much better on it?
