Sonic 3 for Genesis and some others...best I can remember is X-Men and Gargoyle, if my memory serves me right...After that, got a N64 and Banjo-Kazooie.

For me, it was the NES and Excite Bike.
Excite Bike is a classic, still fun to play from time to time.

First console: Nes (Although the first console I actually owned (For myself) was a Nintendo 64 which I got December 2004) First game: Super Mario Bros. How was it: Hard (Still quite hard today. Try completing all levels without getting killed ONCE)

Console: Super NES Year: 1994. Game: I can't remember. It was either Super Mario All Stars + Super Mario World, or Donkey Kong Country 2.

Pong was back there, along with Bubble Bobble on the Atari, but I only remember them both vaguely from my older brother and father playing. My first system was the NES, with Super Mario Bros., Duck Hunt, the running game with the floor mat, as well as TMNT and Bomberman (latter of which was all my dad would play on it, all the time). It was fun, and was good enough to keep me playing them, I guess, though my first system I owned personally was waking up one morning (wasn't even a birthday or anything!) to see a new, shiny plugged in SNES with Mega Man X and Super Mario World! Between MMX and Mega Man 2 for the Gameboy, I probably beated the two close to 400 times combined..good times. ;D Slightly off-topic, albeit only a little, but am I the only one remember the ungodly device for the Genesis known as the Sega Channel you could get your cable company to give you? 50 games sent to you, with some changing every two weeks...It was the best idea ever. Even moreso because my dad worked for the cable company, so we got it for free.

*feels old* Atari 2600. Bought the system at a flea market for eighty bucks, and had fourteen games with it. Pac-man was one of my more favorites, I also had a few games from Mystique, but we'll not get into that.

I would request you to stop saying how old you are. You're definitely not the oldest user on this board (though among the top 5) and just because you grew up with an Atari and still like it doesn't mean that you're the only one who grew up with that generation of consoles and you're the only one who likes playing Retro games. I do so, as well. A lot of people do so. Hell, we even had the arcade machine of Pong when I was little, so I really grew up with the OLDEST video game EVER. *mumbles*

I distinctly remember the SNES being my first console. Which game was the first, I forget, maybe All-Stars, but I do remember the first game I wanted badly for said system: Super Mario Kart.

Console: Snes Game: Starwing/ megaman X (sorry but I don't remember which came first) How was it: ^.^" I got obliterated, I still can't get the hang of starwing now. But I haven't been on for years. In the case of MMX though, Sigma's final form is just too much for me, I hate climbing on the hands. SNES Megaman X I wish i could still play this game because ma SNES is broke it rawks!!!!!!!! *Looks at room**slaps and points* The thing just isn't plugged into the TV! Damnit!

Console: Game Boy. Yes, the extra huge bulky fat one! ;D Year: Dunno, I was around 3-5 years old Game: I'm probably wrong, but Super Mario Land, and I loved it!
If this makes you wonder why I'm mainly a Sonic player, it's because of my next console, the Genesis, with Sonic 2. Oh, the memories of constantly drowning on the Chemical Plant stage! It was actually pretty funny. Oh, does anyone remember Batman & Robin for the Genesis? WOW was that great! *sigh*

Console: Game boy Color Game: Pokemon Red You guys are really going to laugh at this, but I was having a little trouble reading, and the game made me a really good reader. Video games ARE educational! And I am a Pokemon fan since that day.
